Ellipsis are our friends...[Closed]
Character(s): Hitsu, Touga
Content: Hitsu decides to try and see if he can do anything to help Touga after what happened the night before. He wants to make a TV show called Dr. Hitsu. :D
Setting: Library
Time: Late night Hitsu's a vampire. Shhhh!
Warnings:Angsty crud, fluffiness, hints of sexual intercourse, etc.

In truth, after the night before Hitsu's mind was quite in a jumble. His common sense and emotions conflicting with each other to create a horrible feeling of butterflies performing a circus act on speed in his stomach. He had tried all day to avoid the situation but in the end he found himself right where it had all began.

Of course, if he was this bad as it was – there was no telling how Touga was feeling after the night’s events. Hitsu wondered vaguely if the elder man actually recollected what happened when he had changed into the small child version of himself. With any luck, the elder man’s episode may have been different from his own – and he might actually recollect things that had happened then.

Yet.. was it such a good thing to remember what happened..? In a sense, the younger one didn’t want Touga to remember anything. He had opened up a little too much. Showed too much emotions. Yet it wasn’t as if this time was any different.

He couldn’t hide the nervousness and conflict within him as he whispered the other’s name. “Touga..” his lips quivered slightly as the name passed through a second time. What the hell was he thinking, calling out for someone who probably wasn’t here..?

It wasn’t as though simply saying his name would conjure a spell to make him appear.

Touga awoke out of his depressive stupor with a jolt as he felt what he'd been waiting for on pins and needles all day. Hitsu had spoken his name. Maybe that meant...!

In a moment, he was at the library, in time to hear the younger boy speak his name again. Touga emerged from behind a row of shelves as if he had merely been waiting out of Hitsu's line of vision.

He came to stand before the other boy, waiting to see why he'd been summoned, not speaking a word. The emotions running through him would have made it very difficult to speak had he tried.

A pair of eyes did widen as the other appeared, as if expecting the ‘conjuring’ not to have worked. He had initially thought that he was still bothering the other. Even with the reassurance that the other gave him earlier, Hitsu couldn’t brush off the idea that maybe he was doing something wrong. However, it wasn’t as though he didn’t want to see the other – far from that.

Yet he still couldn’t get these odd feelings to go away whenever the elder was around him. Maybe this was ‘true friendship’..? He didn’t know. It had been quite a while since he had that feeling.

Hitsu was in a pretty bad condition, having not slept much or eaten throughout the day but as he looked at Touga – he seemed a lot worse for some reason.

“… I wanted…” He stared, but then stopped, realizing what he said was somewhat selfish and decided on different words.

“…I mean, is there anything I can do to help…?”

Hitsu looked like hell. It was easy to see something had upset him very much. Somehow--for once--Touga was not presumptuous enough to think it had anything to do with him, though he suspected it might.

Especially when Hitsu started to say one thing and finished with another. Touga heard what he had been about to say. He moved forward and just pulled the other boy against him in a supportive embrace. Whatever Hitsu wanted Touga would give him.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 4th, 2006 04:02 am (UTC)
Once again, the boy was taken by surprise by the embrace, yet he did not move to attack the man. Prehaps it was because he was too tired to even consider it. Or maybe it was due to the fact that he trusted Touga. Either way, his left arm stayed dormant at his side and his body relaxed against the illusionary warm of the other’s body. The more he stayed within the embrace the less he wanted to leave it. It was warm, comforting even – enough so that Hitsu almost lost himself to it.

He swayed a little before realizing that he was nearly falling asleep in the other’s arms. He quickly regained himself, though clasped his right arm around the other for a bit of balance.

“Seems you’re the one helping me more than I’m helping you.. ” He muttered into the other’s chest, a look of embarrassment hidden. “…Sorry…”

"Shhhh," Touga hushed him gently, stroking his hand over silky hair, soothing. Why was the other boy apologising so much? He'd done nothing wrong.

Touga had felt Hitsu relax against him and begin to fall asleep. He didn't mind. As tired as the younger boy was, Touga wanted him to get some rest if he could. "You haven't slept much," he said. "Come on."

He guided Hitsu over to one of the comfortable reading chairs and sat down, pulling the other boy into his lap and wrapping him in a comforting embrace, stroking his hair. "Just relax," he said softly. "Sleep."

Hitsu was not the one to argue when half-awake, figuring words were better left unsaid when one was in such a state. He was hesitant at first, however, to comply to the other but he was tugged over before he could truly consider whether to leave or not.

In the end, he managed to find himself in quite the awkward situation. Yet the warmth of the other seemed to lull him into such a state where he didn't care. The caresses helping him relax into the other's embrace.

It reminded him of a distant memory. When his sister used to hold him and cradle him in her arms. Yet those were sad memories, as he did remember her tears falling onto him each time she did.

Yet this, this was rather different. He didn't know what words to express it with but he didn't need them. Within a few minutes he was asleep upon the other's lap.

Holding the other boy made Touga feel...
It made him feel.
That was very difficult to get used to. He wasn't sure he could.

But what he could do was provide a comforting warmth while Hitsu slept.
And he did.

The younger boy slept soundly, straight through the night. And perhaps most shocking of all, Touga remained right where he was, incarnate and warm and like the living that whole time.

He watched the sun slowly rise through the library windows. It was a good thing Touga had no call to speak, because he was too overcome to do so. This was all new. And he hoped things wouldn't go back to the way they had been. He wasn't sure if he could bear that emptiness again after...this.

For once in a long while, he had no dreams. His nightmares replaced with a calming void of nothingness. In the youth’s opinion, nothing was much better than something in this case. While he did have positive dreams most were replaced with nightmares – causing him to wake up once or twice each night. Fatigue wasn’t too uncommon for the boy, but after about forty-eight hours he couldn’t keep himself awake.

He woke up quite slowly that morning, seeming to much prefer to stay where he was than actually make the efforts of waking up at an ungodly hour

. …. Wait… where he was..? This wasn’t his bed? Hitsu almost instantly jolted up at this realization, left arm positioned dangerously close to the elder’s throat. Luckily, the events of last night managed to return to him as well as who this person was. “Oh..” Seconds later, he proceeded to simply disregard that he had almost attempted to choke the other. His body relaxing once again against Touga as he attempted to drift back into the warm void he was in earlier.

He hated mornings. With a bloody passion he hated mornings.

Touga felt Hitsu's body tense as he woke up enough to realise he was in unfamiliar surroundings...or at least an unfamiliar 'bed.' He remained perfectly still as the other boy's instinct to kill came out. It was too late for that where Touga was concerned.

It gave him a feeling of--what was this feeling? Touga didn't have names for anything--when Hitsu realised it was him and relaxed against Touga once more. It was pleasure, but not the sort Touga specialised in. A sort of warm comfortable feeling of relief. And joy. And...contentment?

Touga stroked Hitsu's hair, letting him wake up at his own pace.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 6th, 2006 04:57 am (UTC)
Despite the comfort of being with the other, the soft strokes of his hair - he couldn't get back to sleep. The jolt from earlier decided to get his awareness going and now he was subconsciously holding onto it with a death grip. Oh how lovely.

He muttered some rather colorful dialogue as he shifted on top of his 'make-shift bed'. At this rate it seemed like he was going to be forced to get up. Another grumble left him as he nuzzled into the other in poor attempts to shield himself from the light of day.

"Stupid mornings.." After a few moments of failed attempts, he finally leaned his head away from the other. A small frown on his face as he rubbed his eyes.
winter_rosebud on May 6th, 2006 05:12 am (UTC)
Hitsu snuggling against him in a vain attempt to shield his eyes from the light was perhaps the most adorable thing Touga had ever seen. Much moreso than Nanami's little clinging games.

Touga resisted the urge to kiss Hitsu on the forehead as he would have done with Nanami when the younger boy sat back and frowned sleepily at him, grumping. He smiled softly.

"Do you drink coffee?" He thought back to their little trip to the cafe yesterday. "Milk?" They were probably open by now; it might help Hitsu wake up.
Hitsu: Shinehabstractedmind on May 6th, 2006 05:31 am (UTC)
His regular functions were slowly coming back to him, although it did take a few seconds to register the fact that Touga was talking to him. His hands stopped rubbing his eyes, the half-lidded eyes then proceeding to fixate on the elder for a bit. Was he crazy?

That lady at the cafe had given him quite the bad impression, especially eariler the day before. Touga was luckily oblivous to the incident of stalking he had endured. Hell, she had tried to force sweets down his throat if it killed her.

He shook his head, "It's alright... It just takes me a while to get up...Regardless of what I do to hasten the process.."
winter_rosebud on May 6th, 2006 05:55 am (UTC)
For a moment, it seemed as though his suggestion had made Hitsu angry with him. But then his expression changed and he merely turned Touga down.

"Take as long as you like," he replied indulgently, pulling the other boy back against him and going back to stroking the silky blue hair.

After some time, he asked, "Do you always sleep in the library?"
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 6th, 2006 09:09 pm (UTC)
He leaned against the other's hand as it stroked his hair. In a sense he felt like a cat being held close and lovingly petted. Not that he knew the feeling precisely, but he figured this was close as it came. He wasn't a cat afterall.

Unlike a cat, he wouldn't sleep just anywhere either. "Naw, I usually just sleep in the dorm or something. Unless there's a reason for me to sleep here, of course."

"That rotten gravy smell may drive me to sleep in here though... "

winter_rosebud on May 7th, 2006 02:41 am (UTC)
Touga chuckled at the mention of gravy. He remembered having read something about it on the message boards.

"I wish you wouldn't," he told Hitsu. Touga wasn't sure how safe sleeping in the library was, given what he knew and had seen of some of the other students, his own officially-assigned roommate included. Hitsu was not a normal human boy, but Touga doubted he was immortal.

"I would ask you to stay with me," Touga began, and then paused, somewhat melancholy before continuing, "but my housing is as...substantial as I am." In fact, he knew it had disappeared altogether when he'd regressed two days ago. The mansion was back now, but somehow Touga did not want to return to it. The memories that went with it, he didn't want them controlling him anymore.

"Perhaps we can arrange a room reassignment in the dorms," he murmured, thoughtful.
