Ellipsis are our friends...[Closed]
Character(s): Hitsu, Touga
Content: Hitsu decides to try and see if he can do anything to help Touga after what happened the night before. He wants to make a TV show called Dr. Hitsu. :D
Setting: Library
Time: Late night Hitsu's a vampire. Shhhh!
Warnings:Angsty crud, fluffiness, hints of sexual intercourse, etc.

In truth, after the night before Hitsu's mind was quite in a jumble. His common sense and emotions conflicting with each other to create a horrible feeling of butterflies performing a circus act on speed in his stomach. He had tried all day to avoid the situation but in the end he found himself right where it had all began.

Of course, if he was this bad as it was – there was no telling how Touga was feeling after the night’s events. Hitsu wondered vaguely if the elder man actually recollected what happened when he had changed into the small child version of himself. With any luck, the elder man’s episode may have been different from his own – and he might actually recollect things that had happened then.

Yet.. was it such a good thing to remember what happened..? In a sense, the younger one didn’t want Touga to remember anything. He had opened up a little too much. Showed too much emotions. Yet it wasn’t as if this time was any different.

He couldn’t hide the nervousness and conflict within him as he whispered the other’s name. “Touga..” his lips quivered slightly as the name passed through a second time. What the hell was he thinking, calling out for someone who probably wasn’t here..?

It wasn’t as though simply saying his name would conjure a spell to make him appear.

It was a shame to lose the snuggly source of warmth in his lap, but perhaps for the best. The other boy would doubtless not have appreciated it if Touga's body had begun to react to the new context slowly spreading over the situation.

Touga watched Hitsu stretch like a lazy cat with a fond expression. If Touga had a 'type' he was fairly certain Hitsu was not it. But there was something about the boy...since the other night...he could happily have spent all day with him and not even notice the time passing.

"All right," Touga said, gracefully rising from the chair without a single crack or ache of protest. He looked down and slid his hand against Hitsu's, tangling their fingers together before setting off toward the dorms. It was automatic after the way the other had led him around by the hand two nights ago. And more practical than holding him close while they were trying to walk, which Touga was half-tempted to do.

When they reached the dorms, Touga examined the roster and the map of rooms, noting one that was currently empty. It was on the third floor, which had not yet been assigned to anyone. They had a strange way of doing things around here.

Touga led Hitsu down to the elevator. When the doors opened, he stepped inside and turned to face the other boy, pulling him close. With his arms around Hitsu's waist, Touga leaned down and gently nuzzled his hair.

Hitsu took into mind that he had been sleeping on top of the other all night and imagined that there was to be some pain with that. When no signs of protest had been given, he couldn't help but to be the slightest bit amazed. At least until he realized once again that he hadn't felt pain when he had stabbed him before. Still, to have the patience to stay with him that long happened to be amazing in itself. Hell, sometimes he didn't want to be within his own presence.

He didn't seem all that suprised by the fact that the elder was grabbing him by the hand. Simply taking it more or less as a sign that Touga may have retained some of the childish habits when they had met the last time. A small smile briefly flashed upon his face as he remembered the little boy. A lot more innocent than he was at that age, a little more carefree. Hitsu couldn't help but to envy that a bit.

Hitsu managed to snap out of his thoughts to note when they had gotten to the roster. A second pair of eyes also started scanning it, but Touga seemed to notice the room quicker than he had. When the other started to lead him to the elevator, he had just found the room they were going to. All seemed fine and well until the elevator doors opened and the other almost immediately grabbed him by the waist – holding him while nuzzling into his hair.

Hitsu was extremely close to kicking the other off him, but he attempted to consider the fact that maybe it was due to something different. Plus, he had spend the whole night sleeping on top of the other after all. He guess he owed him something.

Still, it was a bit of an uncomfortable feeling not knowing why the hell Touga suddenly did this.

Feeling the other boy stiffen in his embrace, Touga loosened his hold, stepping back easily when the doors opened to give Hitsu his space. It wasn't like him to be affectionate. He couldn't say why he'd done it. But clearly the other boy wasn't comfortable with it. Last night must have just been...last night. Touga couldn't say why this thought made him feel disappointed.

He led the way down the hall to the empty room, and opened the door. Inside were two small dorm-size twin beds. The sheets were still over the furniture, making it look a bit eerie. It was dusty, but other than that, it seemed like it would do.

Touga looked down at his companion. "Are you sure this is what you want?" Perhaps he'd been forcing himself on the younger boy.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 06:37 am (UTC)

When the other released him, he felt a little better about the situation. Yet it still perplexed him as to why Touga was suddenly being rather physically affectionate at random times. It freaked Hitsu out slightly, causing his homicidal instincts to grow. There was something else though that managed to hold him back, not that he could pinpoint it. Maybe he was just getting used to this side of the other?

That was a scary thought.

More eerie than the room seemed to be, with the sheets over the furniture as though it were some kind of crime scene. There was some dusty film over some of the items but nothing Hitsu couldn’t clean up. In the back of his mind, he thought of the bodies he had to clean up from the tavern inn room he had. Oh yea, this was a lot better than that.

Hitsu glanced up at the other, then glanced back to the floor. A rather tough decision but in the end he figured nothing could really go wrong if they roomed together. Plus, if it did he could just resort to other tactics. “Yea, I’m fine with it as long as you are.” He chided.

Touga reached out slowly and took Hitsu's hand once more, twining their fingers together. His face was serious as he looked down at the other boy. "I want to be with you."

He remembered the wish he'd made two nights ago. It meant something a bit different now, but it was still in his heart.

Touga glanced into the room for a moment. It was probably pushing his luck, but he went on. "I...don't like to sleep alone." After the fact, he realised Hitsu might not interpret that as he'd meant it. Though either way was true. He eyed the two beds as if willing them to merge into one.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 07:10 am (UTC)
Those words made him think back to what the other had said those nights ago. He had thought the other might forget that wish, figuring it might have been just something of a child's wish. Yet, it seemed now the wish was different. He wanted to be with him.. Someone actually wanted to be with him..? It seemed impossible to think about. Hell, even those close to him never wanted to be around him. Only his sister had truly cared about him that much, at least he thought. Something hurt in his chest, burned - an odd sensation.

As quickly as it appeared though, it disappeared when the other said his second comment. Hitsu had definitely, at first, interpreted it wrong. However, his mind was kind enough to point out of him that maybe Touga still carried some of the aspects from when he was younger with him. Hitsu was not one to judge the worst of a friend, and thus he decided once again to take the alternative path.

“I suppose I could accompany you for a day or two.” He chuckled, quite amused at the aspect of Touga retaining such qualities.
winter_rosebud on May 7th, 2006 07:29 am (UTC)
Touga was too intent on willing the beds to merge to catch Hitsu's brief understanding of his comment. By the time he looked back at the other boy, Hitsu was speaking, giving him the benefit of the doubt.

His answering smile was almost a smirk of triumph. "That's very kind of you," Touga said, taking Hitsu's chin gently between his fingers and tipping his face up before bending down to kiss him on the forehead.

He let go and walked forward, starting to pull the sheets off of their furniture. When the first one got his jacket all dusty, he took it off and set about getting the others, topless.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 08:06 am (UTC)
The reddening on his face reappeared as the other’s lips met his forehead, quickly moving his face away as soon as the other released it. He still was adjusting to the fact that the other happened to be quite touchy-feely with him for a lack of better words. Hitsu usually managed to make it clear that he had a good ten foot bubble between him and most people. His friends, even, got a good three to five foot bubble. But Touga seemed to ignore it all together, touching him, hugging him.

Hitsu usually killed the people who did this to him, yet Touga he supposed was a friend. He hadn’t quite thought that far about what he would do to friends who managed to get this close to him. Now that the situation arose, he still didn’t know what to think of it.

The younger one was too wrapped up in thought to see the redhead throw his jacket off until it was too late and instead, he got a full view of Touga. Topless. Ohdeargodwtf.

While Hitsu did get his explaination a few seconds later, seeing the dusty jacket on one of the chairs. Still, that did not help his face from turning a bright red or the lack of understandable thoughts other than curse words.

Touga was not unaware of the other boy's eyes on his body. If there was one thing he knew how to do, it was how to flaunt it. But Touga did it subtlely as he worked throughout the day, helping Hitsu clean and get the room into a decent living condition. The other boy didn't seem quite certain, quite at peace with his own needs and his body's reactions. The best way to deal with that was to give him space, and the time to come to terms with his own desire.

By the time they were through with everything, furniture rearranged, everything dusted and cleaned, the beds pushed together complete with clean sheets, night had already fallen. Touga went down the hall to the bathroom and retrieved them two paper cups of water to toast their job well done.

He had not bothered to put his jacket back on, and now there was no point. He only ever slept in his slacks. Brushing his hair back, Touga perched on the edge of the bed and held up his cup in toast. "To new roommates." He smiled knowingly over at Hitsu.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 07:44 pm (UTC)
Hitsu gradually found himself becoming used to the sight of the other with his shirt off. Not that he prefered this view, hell no. Half of the time he was combating with the urges to brutally maim the other until he put his shirt back on. He knew very well this was something he couldn’t do for obvious reasons but it was nice to feel like he might be able to have some control. In the end, he decided to focus on cleaning instead – which ended up working nicely in his favor.

His definitions of cleaning and cleaning this room were quite different – thankfully. The boy was all too used to walking around in a maid’s outfit cleaning up vital organs from the tavern floors. With that said, this was quite a nice change of pace because hell if he’d wear that stupid outfit out of the tavern (despite he had become accustomed to it).

When all was said and done, the duo worked quite efficiently; managing to turn a rather messy area into a suitable dorm room. Hitsu decided afterwards to take a seat on the bed, knees curled up to his chest as he pondered whether it was a good time to bring in the stuff from the other room while Touga was getting the drinks. He decided against it, figuring that the man would come back in a second or two. He didn’t want to take the risk of seeing the elder’s reaction to his bag of katars, damascus, and other weapons (plus, most people usually didn’t react in a positive way to his sister).

Upon the other’s arrival, he took the cup into his hand – glancing at it blankly until the other spoke. A toast, was it? Hitsu couldn’t help but to chuckle a little as he held up his own cup, lightly tapping it against the other's before taking a sip.

“To new roommates.”
winter_rosebud on May 7th, 2006 08:07 pm (UTC)
Touga knocked back his water and crumpled the cup in his hand before flopping back onto the bed, his hair pooling around him in crimson tendrils.

"Did you bring anything with you when you came here?" Touga asked with curiosity. Now that the room was clean and orderly, it still lacked any sort of personality of the people who lived in it. Touga didn't have anything to contribute, but surely Hitsu did.

Even if he hadn't brought anything with him, hadn't he mentioned being somewhat of an artist? Touga wondered if Hitsu would show him any of the drawings he'd written about.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 08:28 pm (UTC)
Unlike the other, Hitsu slowly sipped the contents of the cup. Even when the cup was finished he kept it in perfect condition in his good hand. He didn't bother to lay down or move other than the slight tilt of his head as the other flopped back.

He became quite hesitant on the question, and now wondered very much what the other would think of all the weapons and strange items in his bags. He, of course, did have his sketchbook but he kept it private most of the time.

That was the only thing he had that was normal. "Yea.." He nodded, "Most of it is in the other dorm though..." Most of his items were in the shared room he had with Cid. The remainder of the items? He had left them in Kekkon's make-shift lab for safekeeping.

The only thing he had brought with him to the room was the clothing on his back and a special memento in his pocket. Maybe he should have considered bringing everything with him. Ah well.

"I'll get it later, though.."
winter_rosebud on May 7th, 2006 08:35 pm (UTC)
Touga watched Hitsu hesitate, as if reluctant to admit he did have belongings here. It made the redhead wonder what these belongings could be, though given the uniqueness of his roommate, they were guaranteed to be interesting.

And special.

Touga found himself wanting to get to know the other boy better. Not ferreting information out of him, manipulating Hitsu into giving it, or even guessing astutely. He wanted the other boy to share it freely. Because he wanted to tell Touga about himself, not because Touga was slowly wringing it out of him, boa constrictor-like.

"I'll get it later, though.."

"Are you sure?" Touga propped himself up on one elbow. "It's not terribly late. I'd be happy to help bring it up."
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 10:37 pm (UTC)
While the generosity of the other was tempting, he had a hard time deciding whether or not to have the other help him carry up his stuff. After a few moments of debating with himself, he decided to get his stuff now. However, he would decline the help of the other. After all, he didn’t want one of his lovely little weapons accidentally slicing its way out of one of his bags.

“When you put it that way, I can easily just bring them up now..” He stated, scooting off the bed with cup still in hand. “Plus, it’s not much to carry.”

With that, he walked to the door and exited the room to retrieve his things. After a few moments he came up with two bags, one a simple grocery bag while the other being what seemed to be a luggage bag. Not that it mattered, because in a few seconds he was darting back downstairs to get the rest of his items.

winter_rosebud on May 7th, 2006 10:52 pm (UTC)
Hitsu disappeared before Touga could say anymore. With a mental shrug, he slid up to lie on the bed properly, length-wise, resting against the pillows.

When his roomie returned only to leave again without a word, Touga glanced over at the bags, resisting the urge to riffle through them.

To distract from his curiosity, Touga settled more comfortably in bed, pulling the sheet up. The next time Hitsu returned, it would look as though he was naked in bed--not that Touga had arranged this intentionally, of course. (Though he did enjoy being the focus of attention.)
