Ellipsis are our friends...[Closed]
Character(s): Hitsu, Touga
Content: Hitsu decides to try and see if he can do anything to help Touga after what happened the night before. He wants to make a TV show called Dr. Hitsu. :D
Setting: Library
Time: Late night Hitsu's a vampire. Shhhh!
Warnings:Angsty crud, fluffiness, hints of sexual intercourse, etc.

In truth, after the night before Hitsu's mind was quite in a jumble. His common sense and emotions conflicting with each other to create a horrible feeling of butterflies performing a circus act on speed in his stomach. He had tried all day to avoid the situation but in the end he found himself right where it had all began.

Of course, if he was this bad as it was – there was no telling how Touga was feeling after the night’s events. Hitsu wondered vaguely if the elder man actually recollected what happened when he had changed into the small child version of himself. With any luck, the elder man’s episode may have been different from his own – and he might actually recollect things that had happened then.

Yet.. was it such a good thing to remember what happened..? In a sense, the younger one didn’t want Touga to remember anything. He had opened up a little too much. Showed too much emotions. Yet it wasn’t as if this time was any different.

He couldn’t hide the nervousness and conflict within him as he whispered the other’s name. “Touga..” his lips quivered slightly as the name passed through a second time. What the hell was he thinking, calling out for someone who probably wasn’t here..?

It wasn’t as though simply saying his name would conjure a spell to make him appear.

winter_rosebud on May 3rd, 2006 05:08 am (UTC)
Touga awoke out of his depressive stupor with a jolt as he felt what he'd been waiting for on pins and needles all day. Hitsu had spoken his name. Maybe that meant...!

In a moment, he was at the library, in time to hear the younger boy speak his name again. Touga emerged from behind a row of shelves as if he had merely been waiting out of Hitsu's line of vision.

He came to stand before the other boy, waiting to see why he'd been summoned, not speaking a word. The emotions running through him would have made it very difficult to speak had he tried.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 4th, 2006 03:05 am (UTC)
A pair of eyes did widen as the other appeared, as if expecting the ‘conjuring’ not to have worked. He had initially thought that he was still bothering the other. Even with the reassurance that the other gave him earlier, Hitsu couldn’t brush off the idea that maybe he was doing something wrong. However, it wasn’t as though he didn’t want to see the other – far from that.

Yet he still couldn’t get these odd feelings to go away whenever the elder was around him. Maybe this was ‘true friendship’..? He didn’t know. It had been quite a while since he had that feeling.

Hitsu was in a pretty bad condition, having not slept much or eaten throughout the day but as he looked at Touga – he seemed a lot worse for some reason.

“… I wanted…” He stared, but then stopped, realizing what he said was somewhat selfish and decided on different words.

“…I mean, is there anything I can do to help…?”
winter_rosebud on May 4th, 2006 03:21 am (UTC)
Hitsu looked like hell. It was easy to see something had upset him very much. Somehow--for once--Touga was not presumptuous enough to think it had anything to do with him, though he suspected it might.

Especially when Hitsu started to say one thing and finished with another. Touga heard what he had been about to say. He moved forward and just pulled the other boy against him in a supportive embrace. Whatever Hitsu wanted Touga would give him.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 4th, 2006 04:02 am (UTC)
Once again, the boy was taken by surprise by the embrace, yet he did not move to attack the man. Prehaps it was because he was too tired to even consider it. Or maybe it was due to the fact that he trusted Touga. Either way, his left arm stayed dormant at his side and his body relaxed against the illusionary warm of the other’s body. The more he stayed within the embrace the less he wanted to leave it. It was warm, comforting even – enough so that Hitsu almost lost himself to it.

He swayed a little before realizing that he was nearly falling asleep in the other’s arms. He quickly regained himself, though clasped his right arm around the other for a bit of balance.

“Seems you’re the one helping me more than I’m helping you.. ” He muttered into the other’s chest, a look of embarrassment hidden. “…Sorry…”
winter_rosebud on May 4th, 2006 12:58 pm (UTC)
"Shhhh," Touga hushed him gently, stroking his hand over silky hair, soothing. Why was the other boy apologising so much? He'd done nothing wrong.

Touga had felt Hitsu relax against him and begin to fall asleep. He didn't mind. As tired as the younger boy was, Touga wanted him to get some rest if he could. "You haven't slept much," he said. "Come on."

He guided Hitsu over to one of the comfortable reading chairs and sat down, pulling the other boy into his lap and wrapping him in a comforting embrace, stroking his hair. "Just relax," he said softly. "Sleep."
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 5th, 2006 04:27 am (UTC)
Hitsu was not the one to argue when half-awake, figuring words were better left unsaid when one was in such a state. He was hesitant at first, however, to comply to the other but he was tugged over before he could truly consider whether to leave or not.

In the end, he managed to find himself in quite the awkward situation. Yet the warmth of the other seemed to lull him into such a state where he didn't care. The caresses helping him relax into the other's embrace.

It reminded him of a distant memory. When his sister used to hold him and cradle him in her arms. Yet those were sad memories, as he did remember her tears falling onto him each time she did.

Yet this, this was rather different. He didn't know what words to express it with but he didn't need them. Within a few minutes he was asleep upon the other's lap.
winter_rosebud on May 5th, 2006 04:55 am (UTC)
Holding the other boy made Touga feel...
It made him feel.
That was very difficult to get used to. He wasn't sure he could.

But what he could do was provide a comforting warmth while Hitsu slept.
And he did.

The younger boy slept soundly, straight through the night. And perhaps most shocking of all, Touga remained right where he was, incarnate and warm and like the living that whole time.

He watched the sun slowly rise through the library windows. It was a good thing Touga had no call to speak, because he was too overcome to do so. This was all new. And he hoped things wouldn't go back to the way they had been. He wasn't sure if he could bear that emptiness again after...this.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 6th, 2006 04:14 am (UTC)

For once in a long while, he had no dreams. His nightmares replaced with a calming void of nothingness. In the youth’s opinion, nothing was much better than something in this case. While he did have positive dreams most were replaced with nightmares – causing him to wake up once or twice each night. Fatigue wasn’t too uncommon for the boy, but after about forty-eight hours he couldn’t keep himself awake.

He woke up quite slowly that morning, seeming to much prefer to stay where he was than actually make the efforts of waking up at an ungodly hour

. …. Wait… where he was..? This wasn’t his bed? Hitsu almost instantly jolted up at this realization, left arm positioned dangerously close to the elder’s throat. Luckily, the events of last night managed to return to him as well as who this person was. “Oh..” Seconds later, he proceeded to simply disregard that he had almost attempted to choke the other. His body relaxing once again against Touga as he attempted to drift back into the warm void he was in earlier.

He hated mornings. With a bloody passion he hated mornings.

It was a shame to lose the snuggly source of warmth in his lap, but perhaps for the best. The other boy would doubtless not have appreciated it if Touga's body had begun to react to the new context slowly spreading over the situation.

Touga watched Hitsu stretch like a lazy cat with a fond expression. If Touga had a 'type' he was fairly certain Hitsu was not it. But there was something about the boy...since the other night...he could happily have spent all day with him and not even notice the time passing.

"All right," Touga said, gracefully rising from the chair without a single crack or ache of protest. He looked down and slid his hand against Hitsu's, tangling their fingers together before setting off toward the dorms. It was automatic after the way the other had led him around by the hand two nights ago. And more practical than holding him close while they were trying to walk, which Touga was half-tempted to do.

When they reached the dorms, Touga examined the roster and the map of rooms, noting one that was currently empty. It was on the third floor, which had not yet been assigned to anyone. They had a strange way of doing things around here.

Touga led Hitsu down to the elevator. When the doors opened, he stepped inside and turned to face the other boy, pulling him close. With his arms around Hitsu's waist, Touga leaned down and gently nuzzled his hair.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 05:42 am (UTC)
Hitsu took into mind that he had been sleeping on top of the other all night and imagined that there was to be some pain with that. When no signs of protest had been given, he couldn't help but to be the slightest bit amazed. At least until he realized once again that he hadn't felt pain when he had stabbed him before. Still, to have the patience to stay with him that long happened to be amazing in itself. Hell, sometimes he didn't want to be within his own presence.

He didn't seem all that suprised by the fact that the elder was grabbing him by the hand. Simply taking it more or less as a sign that Touga may have retained some of the childish habits when they had met the last time. A small smile briefly flashed upon his face as he remembered the little boy. A lot more innocent than he was at that age, a little more carefree. Hitsu couldn't help but to envy that a bit.

Hitsu managed to snap out of his thoughts to note when they had gotten to the roster. A second pair of eyes also started scanning it, but Touga seemed to notice the room quicker than he had. When the other started to lead him to the elevator, he had just found the room they were going to. All seemed fine and well until the elevator doors opened and the other almost immediately grabbed him by the waist – holding him while nuzzling into his hair.

Hitsu was extremely close to kicking the other off him, but he attempted to consider the fact that maybe it was due to something different. Plus, he had spend the whole night sleeping on top of the other after all. He guess he owed him something.

Still, it was a bit of an uncomfortable feeling not knowing why the hell Touga suddenly did this.

winter_rosebud on May 7th, 2006 06:20 am (UTC)
Feeling the other boy stiffen in his embrace, Touga loosened his hold, stepping back easily when the doors opened to give Hitsu his space. It wasn't like him to be affectionate. He couldn't say why he'd done it. But clearly the other boy wasn't comfortable with it. Last night must have just been...last night. Touga couldn't say why this thought made him feel disappointed.

He led the way down the hall to the empty room, and opened the door. Inside were two small dorm-size twin beds. The sheets were still over the furniture, making it look a bit eerie. It was dusty, but other than that, it seemed like it would do.

Touga looked down at his companion. "Are you sure this is what you want?" Perhaps he'd been forcing himself on the younger boy.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 06:37 am (UTC)

When the other released him, he felt a little better about the situation. Yet it still perplexed him as to why Touga was suddenly being rather physically affectionate at random times. It freaked Hitsu out slightly, causing his homicidal instincts to grow. There was something else though that managed to hold him back, not that he could pinpoint it. Maybe he was just getting used to this side of the other?

That was a scary thought.

More eerie than the room seemed to be, with the sheets over the furniture as though it were some kind of crime scene. There was some dusty film over some of the items but nothing Hitsu couldn’t clean up. In the back of his mind, he thought of the bodies he had to clean up from the tavern inn room he had. Oh yea, this was a lot better than that.

Hitsu glanced up at the other, then glanced back to the floor. A rather tough decision but in the end he figured nothing could really go wrong if they roomed together. Plus, if it did he could just resort to other tactics. “Yea, I’m fine with it as long as you are.” He chided.
winter_rosebud on May 7th, 2006 06:50 am (UTC)
Touga reached out slowly and took Hitsu's hand once more, twining their fingers together. His face was serious as he looked down at the other boy. "I want to be with you."

He remembered the wish he'd made two nights ago. It meant something a bit different now, but it was still in his heart.

Touga glanced into the room for a moment. It was probably pushing his luck, but he went on. "I...don't like to sleep alone." After the fact, he realised Hitsu might not interpret that as he'd meant it. Though either way was true. He eyed the two beds as if willing them to merge into one.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 07:10 am (UTC)
Those words made him think back to what the other had said those nights ago. He had thought the other might forget that wish, figuring it might have been just something of a child's wish. Yet, it seemed now the wish was different. He wanted to be with him.. Someone actually wanted to be with him..? It seemed impossible to think about. Hell, even those close to him never wanted to be around him. Only his sister had truly cared about him that much, at least he thought. Something hurt in his chest, burned - an odd sensation.

As quickly as it appeared though, it disappeared when the other said his second comment. Hitsu had definitely, at first, interpreted it wrong. However, his mind was kind enough to point out of him that maybe Touga still carried some of the aspects from when he was younger with him. Hitsu was not one to judge the worst of a friend, and thus he decided once again to take the alternative path.

“I suppose I could accompany you for a day or two.” He chuckled, quite amused at the aspect of Touga retaining such qualities.
winter_rosebud on May 7th, 2006 07:29 am (UTC)
Touga was too intent on willing the beds to merge to catch Hitsu's brief understanding of his comment. By the time he looked back at the other boy, Hitsu was speaking, giving him the benefit of the doubt.

His answering smile was almost a smirk of triumph. "That's very kind of you," Touga said, taking Hitsu's chin gently between his fingers and tipping his face up before bending down to kiss him on the forehead.

He let go and walked forward, starting to pull the sheets off of their furniture. When the first one got his jacket all dusty, he took it off and set about getting the others, topless.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 7th, 2006 08:06 am (UTC)
The reddening on his face reappeared as the other’s lips met his forehead, quickly moving his face away as soon as the other released it. He still was adjusting to the fact that the other happened to be quite touchy-feely with him for a lack of better words. Hitsu usually managed to make it clear that he had a good ten foot bubble between him and most people. His friends, even, got a good three to five foot bubble. But Touga seemed to ignore it all together, touching him, hugging him.

Hitsu usually killed the people who did this to him, yet Touga he supposed was a friend. He hadn’t quite thought that far about what he would do to friends who managed to get this close to him. Now that the situation arose, he still didn’t know what to think of it.

The younger one was too wrapped up in thought to see the redhead throw his jacket off until it was too late and instead, he got a full view of Touga. Topless. Ohdeargodwtf.

While Hitsu did get his explaination a few seconds later, seeing the dusty jacket on one of the chairs. Still, that did not help his face from turning a bright red or the lack of understandable thoughts other than curse words.

Touga was not surprised when Hitsu dropped his hands and revealed he was blushing up a storm. He'd been able to feel it in the fever of the other boy's cheek even before he saw it.

"Don't apologise," Touga said gently. "If I had known it would make you uncomfortable..." He stroked the younger boy's cheek again and breathed, "I'll never do anything you don't want."

Letting his arm drop, Touga turned and disappeared into their still-empty closet. When he emerged once more, he was clothed in loose-fitting pyjama pants with a matching harem-style vest that hung open in front, but provided more covering than he'd worn all day.

Touga spread his arms to model the outfit for Hitsu, casting him a flirtatious glance. "Better?" he asked.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 8th, 2006 02:06 am (UTC)
Relief flooded through the boy as the other said those words. He still couldn't formulate a good explaination and violence wasn't something he felt like resorting to at the moment. For once, his judgement did prove wrong - and there seemed to be no anterior motives behind the other's actions.

So for now, he let his guard down - relaxing a bit as he waited for the other to come back. When he reappeared to model the outfit for the younger one, Hitsu had to supress another laugh.

"Yea." The younger boy's lips curled into a small smile.
winter_rosebud on May 8th, 2006 02:40 am (UTC)
Touga didn't understand why Hitsu's approval made him so happy, but it did. He smiled back, and moved close again to run fingers through the other boy's hair briefly. "You don't smile enough," he said, and moved away, back to the bed.

Sitting down on the edge, Touga brushed his hair back. "So what shall we do now?" He gave Hitsu a suggestive glance, enjoying seeing the other boy blush.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 8th, 2006 03:16 am (UTC)
"You don't smile enough,"

It was entirely true that he didn't smile enough, yet what did he have to smile about? Hitsu couldn't think for the life of him anything to truly smile about. Sure, the pranks Bones pulled off were sometimes funny as well as Kekkon's naive reactions but regardless, depression would usually set in.

Even now there was quite an amount of difficulty in not thinking about the past. Yet, Touga seemed to make him forget about it all for a while. Maybe that's why he was letting the other get away with so many things.

"I'm not sure..." Hitsu gave the other a slightly perplexed expression.
winter_rosebud on May 8th, 2006 04:28 am (UTC)
Touga extended an arm for the other boy to join him. "If you're not ready for bed, why don't we just sit and talk for a while?"

That was something they hadn't done too much of, even though they'd spent the entire day together. Touga was eager to learn more about his roommate, but he could tell by now it was never going to happen without some quiet time alone like this--and maybe even not then.

The idea of just sitting or lying close enough to touch and talking appealed to Touga for reasons he could not name, for the first time in his un-life.
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 8th, 2006 04:49 am (UTC)
"Ah, sure..."

Hitsu had no qualms towards the idea of sitting down and chatting. However, he also felt the urge to draw. So he searched through one of the bags to pull out what seemed to be a small sketchpad and a pencil. With the two items in hand, he made it back to the bed, sitting himself next to the other.

Once he made it back he made a rather obvious discovery. "Ummm.." Hitsu blinked, quite clueless and child-like, "I don't.. know what to talk about really..."
winter_rosebud on May 8th, 2006 04:54 am (UTC)
Touga draped his arm loosely around Hitsu when the younger boy came to sit next to him, pleased that he'd come so close of his own accord. He was also pleased that Hitsu had brought out his sketchbook, which he'd just been wondering about earlier today.

Touga chuckled. "Well, why don't you show me some of your drawings? I'd love to see them. You can tell me about those."
Hitsuabstractedmind on May 8th, 2006 05:29 am (UTC)
Most of his drawings he kept to himself - hidden behind the tattered cover of the book. They were mostly for different reasons. The only person he had actually shown them to he had broke ties with years ago. No one had ever really taken much of an interest in what he drew anymore, so he was suprised when the other asked to see some of them.

"Sure." He openned up the book, skipping a page to come across a picture.
winter_rosebud on May 8th, 2006 11:57 am (UTC)
"It's your sister," Touga said gently. "Isn't it?" His arm around the other boy tightened a little in a half-hug. There were many things this portrait said about Hitsu's feelings about his sister, but Touga wanted the other boy to tell him himself.

"Was she still alive when you drew this?" he asked, knowing the answer already.

Touga's heart went out to Hitsu, which was an interesting phenomenon, considering he hadn't thought he possessed one before two days ago.
